Class winner and GOLD for WiraWåxt 2023

A big nod to Jost, who at 85, has just won Gold and is class victor for his recent vintage of WiraWåxt, 2023 from ÖGZ, Austria’s main Gastro magazine.

WiraWåxt is described as ” a complete Viennese packet in gold”.

This references the fun heritage of this wine grown on the Nussberg hill overlooking Vienna, that Jost resurected the brand in his 80th year and hints at the youthful energy with which he pursues this passion. 

The wine is a blend of Sauvingon Blanc, Welschriesling and Pinot Blanc.
