More awards for our Blaufränkisch 2017

We have received 92 points from A La Carte in the Grand Cru Tasting. The third award this wine has received this quarter. They described the wine as:

‘A complex wine with a strong colour, ripe fruits of blueberries and blackberries, fuller bodied, dense with structure and a fruity long finish’.

Blaufränkisch is a great wine for these colder months. It has a depth of flavour to pair well with dark meats and roasted food, yet remains light and elegant which means there is usually space for a second glass too!
