The judges tasting notes:
A light, transparent colour. Candied orange, red berry notes, a full, balanced mouthfeel with a velvety finish. Great fruit and an excellent example of this grape varietal.

This wine was only released in December so many of you may not have had the chance to taste this delight yet. We only release these single vineyard wine in exceptional years. The last vintage was 2014, so we can guarantee this is a real treat.
To receive recognition in this category of sustainable wines is also important milestone for us acknowledging our efforts in this important area of environment too.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Cherry red with a delicate lightening towards the rim
Nose: Aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and raspberries which produce a complex bouquet with floral nuances. Light toasty aromatics from elegantly integrated oak
Palate: Bold on the palate, unfolding gracefully with a long, lingering finish and nougat aftertaste
Food pairing: Delicious with mushroom dishes, duck and roast rack of lamb but also rare stake, guinea fowl, beef wellington, grilled lobster
