Nature´s magic Rosenberg’s slopes are warmed by the sun for over 2000 hours per year. The mild air from Lake Neusiedl is forced by the wind through the vine stocks, which deeply rooted in the highly-mineral soil. The berries are provided with the humidity they require to develop perfectly from the water stores in the lowest layers of the soil.
Ripened to an exquisite Burgundy Rosenberg’s vine stocks are covered with Pinot Noir berries and their rich contents can almost be seen through their thin skins. The exquisite Burgundy produced from the fully matured grapes, however, still harbours many secrets. Alas the Pinot Noir is a rebellious varietal. Premium terroir for single vineyard wines 2003 saw the first presentation of Rosenberg’s Pinot Noir. The appeal of our premium single vineyard’s wine lies in its gorgeous, garnet-coloured fruits, which contain a balance of aromas and a hint of marzipan. Its silky elegance will meet the highest expectations of any classic Pinot Noir connoisseur. |
